Recording

I provide recording, editing and mixing for your audio needs. Using high-quality portable digital audio interfaces, microphones, laptop computers, and big hard drives, I come to you for on-site recording. My services are perfect for recording:

  • Speeches

  • Meetings

  • Conferences with multiple simultaneous happenings

  • Storytelling and spoken-word performances

  • Important personal events like weddings, roasts, tributes.

I can patch into a public address system, if you are using one, or work with your videographer to provide high-quality sound to video documentation.

I know from experience that sometimes technology fails, so I use redundant devices to make sure that your brilliance doesn't get lost to a technical difficulty.

I show up on time and try to be as unobtrusive to your event as possible.

I can also provide sound reinforcement (public address system) for small venues with up to 12 channels of sound input - a combination of live mics, CD player or other electronic sources

I'm based in the Hudson Valley in New York State and am available to travel to your event.

Production

In my studio I can:

  • Edit your sound to remove coughs or other distracting noises and digitally enhance the 'legibility' of words.

  • Deliver your material in the format that is most convenient to you - mp3, CD, wav or aiff file.

  • Mix your raw material into a broadcast or podcast-ready stereo file.

  • Create soundtracks, backgrounds, and original audio content for your radio ad, film, or website.
